Enchi began with a simple belief: that the most beautiful furniture is a collaboration between nature and the maker. We don't impose a shape on the wood — we listen to it.
Every slab we select carries a record of decades — droughts, seasons, the slow architecture of growth. Our role is to honour that history: to reveal the figure, stabilise the natural edge, and finish each surface so it can be touched, used, and lived with for a lifetime.
Nothing is mass-produced. Each piece is one of one.
“A piece you build your life around.”
We work with suppliers who replant and manage their forests, and we use reclaimed and salvaged timber wherever the material allows.
Joinery you can see, finishes that age gracefully, and no shortcuts hidden beneath a surface. The making is part of the beauty.
We build for the second and third owner as much as the first. An Enchi piece is meant to be inherited.
“We measure success in decades, not seasons.”
Tell us about your space, your project, or the piece you've been imagining.
We'll take it from there.
