Privacy Policy

Enchi is a brand of MedTropic SARL, a company registered in Lebanon (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we collect through enchifurniture.com, why, who helps us process it, and the rights you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect and why
Enquiry form
When you send an enquiry we receive your name, email address, message, the type of enquiry and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, your role and your country. We use these only to reply to you, prepare a quotation and, if you go ahead, to fulfil your order. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Email, phone and WhatsApp
If you contact us directly we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request or order. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms and is covered by its own privacy terms.
Technical data
Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and to keep the site running. Our catalogue loads product information from Shopify, so your browser makes a request to Shopify's servers when you view it; Shopify sees your IP address for that request and nothing else. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate and does not use cookies or identify individual visitors.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or social-media trackers. Fonts are served from our own domain, not from a third party.
3. Legal basis
We process enquiry data because you have asked us to respond, and because it is necessary to prepare and perform a contract with you. We process technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available. Where the law requires consent, sending the form is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
4. Who processes data on our behalf

Some of these providers are outside Lebanon and the European Economic Area. Each one processes data under its own contractual data-protection commitments, and we share only what is needed for the purpose listed.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted within 24 months of our last exchange. Records relating to an order are kept for as long as Lebanese accounting and tax law requires, currently ten years. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period only.
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email hello@enchifurniture.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in Lebanon, the Ministry of Economy and Trade oversees the application of Law No. 81/2018 on electronic transactions and personal data. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Registration with the Ministry
Under Article 94(6) of Law No. 81/2018, processing the data of a company's own clients and prospective clients, within the limits of its lawful business, does not require a permit from the Ministry of Economy and Trade. Our processing is limited to that.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to enquiries is limited to the people at Enchi who need to answer them.
9. Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the contact page.
