For everyone
Accessibility
Last updated 2 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to browse our work and get in touch with us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This statement explains what we have done, what we know still needs work, and how to reach us if something is in your way.
Standard
We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site was reviewed against that standard in September 2026 with an automated scan of every page template and a manual check of keyboard use, headings, focus and colour contrast.
What we have done
- All text meets the 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background.
- Every page has a skip link, a main landmark and a logical heading order.
- Everything can be operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- The background videos on the home and About pages can be paused, and do not play at all if your system asks for reduced motion.
- The enquiry form labels every field, explains errors in text, and announces success or failure to screen readers.
- The product photo viewer is a proper dialog: focus stays inside it and returns to where you were when it closes.
- Site photographs carry descriptive alternative text.
Known limitations
- Product photographs come from our catalogue system and currently use the product’s name as their description. We are adding fuller descriptions piece by piece.
- The catalogue and product pages need JavaScript to load. If it is disabled, please contact us and we will send details of any piece by email.
