These terms apply to your use of enchifurniture.com, operated by MedTropic SARL under the Enchi brand. By using the site you accept them. They are deliberately plain.
1. The catalogue is an invitation, not an offer
Every piece we show is one of one. Its presence in the catalogue means it is available for enquiry, not that it is in stock at a fixed price. Prices, availability, dimensions and lead times are confirmed only in a written quotation from us. A contract for a piece or a commission comes into existence when we confirm your order in writing, and is governed by that confirmation together with these terms.
If you are a consumer and buy a ready-made piece at a distance, without seeing it in person, the consumer law that applies to you may give you a period after delivery to change your mind. Where it applies we honour it, and your order confirmation explains how to use it. It does not apply to pieces made or altered to your specification.
2. Photographs and dimensions are indicative
Photographs may not reproduce colour and figure exactly, and screens differ. Some lifestyle images and videos are digitally staged: the piece is real and photographed by us, the room around it is computer-generated, and any people shown are not real. Staging can subtly change colour, light and fine detail, so we will send unedited photographs of any piece on request. Dimensions in the catalogue are approximate and confirmed in your quotation. Where a piece is made to your specification, the confirmed drawing or description governs.
3. Live-edge timber is a natural material
Solid wood is not a manufactured surface. Every slab has its own grain, colour, figure, natural edge and small features such as knots, mineral streaks, checks and voids that we may leave visible or fill as part of the design. Wood also responds to its environment: it can move slightly, develop small surface checks, and change colour with light and humidity over time. These are characteristics of the material, not defects, and they are part of what you are buying. We will tell you how to care for your piece, and following that advice is a condition of any warranty we give in your order confirmation.
4. Intellectual property
The text, design, logo, photographs and videos on this site belong to MedTropic SARL or are used under licence. You may view and share links to the site. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse our photographs or content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
5. Accuracy and availability
We keep the site as accurate as we can, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or always available. We may change or withdraw any piece, price or content without notice. Information on the site is not professional advice.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on information on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in them affects the rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in. Liability relating to a purchase is governed by your order confirmation.
7. Third-party services
The site links to WhatsApp and loads product data from Shopify. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. The courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the site, without prejudice to any mandatory rules that give you the right to bring a claim where you live.
